a selector lever position with the engine running.
Before working with the engine running, move the
transmission into "P" and
Special tools and workshop equipment
required
Torque Wrench 1410 -VAG1410-
Removing
- Remove the brake caliper. Refer to
→ Chapter "Brake Caliper, Removing and Installing".
- Remove the bolt -arrow- and
remove the brake rotor.
Caution
Risk of damaging the brake rotor
If the engine oil level too low
If you need to add engine oil, use an oil that is listed on the sticker. The
sticker is located at the front of the engine compartment fig. 164. When using
the engine oil listed on the sticker, you can adjust the oil level as often as
needed.
