Towing Guide
Note
- This is a "guide" for Audi models and their towing weights.
- The proper towing weight of the respective vehicle must
always adhere to the corresponding vehicle document (certificate
of conformity).
- For the towing weights of individual models and special
models that are not listed here, refer to the corresponding
vehicle document.
General Information for Retrofitting Trailer Hitch
- When retrofitting a trailer hitch, pay attention to the
technical requirements, the manufacturer guidelines and
legislative regulations.
- Only use a trailer hitch that was tested and is permitted
for the respective vehicle.
- Make sure there is sufficient distance to the bumper cover
when there are items attached to the trailer hitch, such as a
bicycle rack.
Note
When retrofitting a trailer hitch, it is recommended to use
only Audi original accessory parts. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
