Caution
This procedure contains mandatory replaceable parts.
Refer to component overview prior to star
Visual Check
Components of the steering column must not show any
indications of damage.
Function Test
The steering column must turn without catching or difficulty
of movement.
The steering column must adjust easily from side to side and
vertically (this test is only possible when installed)

Before removing, disconnect all the connectors and secure the
contacts toward the inside to the middle of the window glass using
adhesive tape.
