 Closing Assist Motor, Removing and Installing

Removing - Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Rear Door Trim Panels; Rear Door Trim Panel, Removing and Installing. - Disconnect the connector -3-. - Release the catch -arrow A- on the cable -2- downward from the support bracket

 Steering Column, Checking for Damage

Visual Check Components of the steering column must not show any indications of damage. Function Test The steering column must turn without catching or difficulty of movement. The steering column must adjust easily from side to side and vertically (this test is only possible when installed)
